Acacia Wright discovered her passion for health and nutrition while traveling across Central America, where she observed the prevalence of malnutrition. Moved to ignite change and help others optimize their health, she pursued a career focused on preventative medicine and nutrition.
Acacia graduated Cum Laude from Washington State University where she earned her BS in Food Science and Human Nutrition. She then went on to earn her RD and certificate in adult weight management. Acacia has worked with clients both locally in Seattle, and remotely all over the world. She has worked with a range of individuals, from busy business professionals to stay-at-home mothers, helping with strategies that fit their unique lifestyles in order to live more balanced lives. She’s given a number of wellness talks and corporate lunch and learns to help individuals discover healthier choices. She is also experienced in promoting anti-inflammatory, antioxidant strategies aimed at decreasing inflammation and oxidative stress while promoting healthy immune balance. When she’s not working with her clients, you’ll find her jogging around her neighborhood park, reading at a local café, or playing food scientist in the kitchen, experimenting with new recipes.
Acacia is currently an active member of the American Dietetic Association, where she also takes part in the practice group for Dietitians in Integrative and Functional Medicine.
