Board Certified General and Cosmetic Surgeon

Dr. Harris graduated medical school at Michigan State University and completed his surgical training residency at the Mayo Clinic. After 5 years of surgical training he practiced general surgery in rural Idaho for 8 years treating a wide variety of disorders. He developed an interest in cosmetic surgery at that time and refined his techniques in body contouring and liposuction. He completed a year-long intensive fellowship in cosmetic surgery in 2011. Dr. Harris has been a part of the Eviva team since 2011.

He has special interest in breast and body contouring with expertise in liposculpting and lipocontouring. His interest in post-bariatric body contouring has been an ideal fit for the center. From their nutritional needs and unique characteristics of their skin to navigating insurance coverage, post-bariatric patients present unique challenges in body contouring. His experience working with post-bariatric patients has been immensely helpful as our patients progress through their journey.

Working with our expert bariatric and minimally invasive surgeons, Dr. Harris has been able to practice and refine his own technique in minimally invasive and bariatric surgery. He is able to offer the LapSleeve procedure and other minimally invasive operations. These operations include hernia repairs and gallbladder removal. He is also able to offer a variety of other general surgical procedures including upper and lower endoscopy.

Dr. Harris is board certified by the American Board of Surgery, the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery, a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery.
