Nora Delavari is a registered dietitian and a member of Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. She is also a certified dietitian in the state of Washington. She received her B.S in Nutrition and Dietetics from Bastyr University and a master’s degree in Human Sciences from Texas A&M University. She finished her dietetic internship in Corpus Christi, Texas, where she worked in various settings such as hospitals, dialysis and diabetes education centers, school food service and food banks.
Nora is a member of Phi Theta Kappa honor society. She has advanced training in the field of obesity interventions and holds a certificate of training from Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
She has worked in the field of weight-loss and weight management since becoming a dietitian. She enjoys working in this field because seeing her patients transforming their lives and achieving their goals is very rewarding to her. She is passionate about needs and goals of her patients and believes one size does not fit all. She provides nutrition interventions tailored to her patients’ needs and preferences.
When not working, Nora volunteers for Seattle Humane Society fostering dogs needing a break from the shelter life. On her spare time, she enjoys running, hiking, biking and weight-training. She also spends a lot of time with her family and her dog, a toy poodle called Lily!
