The holidays are right around the corner!  And you know what that means…FOOD. Food is a big part of all American holidays.  Most of us look forward to those “comfort” foods that we traditionally prepare.  This time of year, it seems we can`t get away from tasty treats!  From family functions to school activities to office parties – the holiday goodies are non-stop! It seems that there are only two options: eat the food and feel guilty OR avoid the food and feel deprived.  Instead, why don`t we come up with an alternative choice?  Why not put a healthy spin on your favorites? Today we will be discussing the use of protein powder to “amp up” your holiday dishes.  It sounds odd, but with the right recipes, the results will be both pleasing to the palate and beneficial for your body! The beauty of protein powders is that they are very versatile.  Choosing one with a clean taste and great texture ensures that the product will also taste great and the texture will not be altered. UNJURY is known for its great taste and ability to be easily mixed into foods and beverages.  The recipes sampled at our support group are all in the new UNJURY Recipe Book, available for purchase at: http://www.unjury.com/products/miscellaneous/unjury-recipe-book.html Click on the links below for each recipe: There are also many other ideas for using protein powders in holiday foods!  Here are a few suggestions using UNJURY Protein flavors:
