In December of 2010 I suffered a heart attack due to obesity. I was lucky to arrive at the hospital in time where they performed an emergency procedure to save my life. I was overweight, had heart disease, diabetes and sleep apnea. I tried different diets with various nutritionist and my cardiologist, however, nothing worked.
My cardiologist warned me that if I didn’t lose weight, I may have another heart attack. I was 227 pounds. The cardiologist suggested I meet with folks at Eviva. After consulting with the Eviva staff and doctors, I prepared and underwent surgery on June 26, 2018. The surgery has surpassed my expectations, I lost a total of 92 lbs, I have reversed my heart disease and diabetes and my sleeping disorder have improved. I am no longer on medication for heart disease or diabetes. I feel 20 years younger than my age, and I have a lot of more energy.
